I did this picture to commemorate the death of Benoît Mandelbrot, the father of fractal geometry. He was dead one year ago, on October 14th. The sentence says: « I always thought there was order hidden in nature. And I’m quite happy I was able to prove it. »
Cooking and genetics: evolution is like a good old recipe, it becomes better with the right mutations. My book has the chromosome structure: four arms connected in the middle. To read the text, you need to mix the ingredients, fold the pages, make the mutations happen (it’s easy if you follow the arrows).
