I did this picture to commemorate the death of Benoît Mandelbrot, the father of fractal geometry. He was dead one year ago, on October 14th. The sentence says: « I always thought there was order hidden in nature. And I’m quite happy I was able to prove it. »

Hanuka

During Hanuka, everybody lights the candles of the miracle in the candelabra close to the windows (the ‘hranukiot’). My Hanuka was mostly experienced from the streets of Bnei Brak, the very religious town, that you’re not always welcome to picture, quiet and severe from the outside, mysterious and glowing from the inside.
